MDR Law Associates is a Chennai-based full-service law firm founded in 2019 by Advocate R. Muralidharan. We are dedicated to delivering strategic, practical, and result-oriented legal solutions with integrity, precision, and a commitment to justice. Starting as a small chamber near the Madras High Court, the firm has rapidly grown into a trusted legal practice with two offices in Chennai: the Principal Office in Armenian Street, Parrys, and a Client Service Office in Anna Nagar. We serve clients across Tamil Nadu, including cities like Trichy, Salem, and Coimbatore, and maintain a strong presence before the Supreme Court of India, The Madras High Court, and the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court.

Advocate R. Muralidharan is the driving force behind the firm, known for bringing a rare blend of legal expertise, analytical skills, and strategic real-world experience. His academic foundation is exceptionally strong: he holds an LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws), a Master of Laws (M.L.) , an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Madras , and a B.A. in Political Science from Madras Christian College (Autonomous), Chennai. This multi-disciplinary background, particularly his Master in Sociology and the foundational knowledge from his degree in Political Science from Madras Christian College, shapes the firm’s modern, research-driven, and client-centric legal practice. Furthermore, his experience includes a focus on Constitutional Law and a research project on the Sociological Perspective of the Indian Constitution. Before establishing the firm, he spent his career as an Consultant for technology startups, advising on business planning, revenue modeling, data analytics, and ethical frameworks. His professional journey also includes roles as a Project Manager at the British Council (Chennai) and a Lecturer at Stansfield School of Business, as well as being a research contributor to World Bank-APAC/USAID projects and University of Madras initiatives.
